BTA Deep Hole Boring Machine

HTT helped a US oil field OEM in the state of Louisiana to establish in-house deep hole boring capability with a 4-meter (160 inch) BTA deep hole boring machine. It allows them to deep hole drill all downhole filter sub parts in-house, which used to be subcontracted to a company in Houston. This capability not only reduced piece part cost but also dramatically reduced the lead time. The capital investment return occurs inside a calendar year.
