HTT USA is specialized deep hole drilling technology.
Deep hole drilling has been widely used in the making of Plastic Injection Mold and Compression Mold in machining Water Lines and Venting Passages which can not be done on conventional machining centers.
Our shop is conveniently located in outskirts of Chicago at Grayslake, 40-minute drive from O’Hare Chicago International Airport, easily accessible from highway 94.
We have the experience and expertise to drill precision hole with Length/Diameter ratio > 100 for even the most difficult applications to meet your specific size, tolerance and materials.

Jobshop

Our shop is well equipped with 3-axis CNC controlled column type deep hole drilling machines with rotary table and spindle attachment to allow us to machine mold base and water lines in single set up.

• Drilling diameter range: ø3-ø50 mm/ø.12"- ø2.0"
• Maximum drilling depth: 1,600 mm/63”
• Maximum mold height: 1,150 mm/45”
• Maximum mold weight: 15,000 kg/33,000 lbs

Besides drilling, the machine is capable of Face Mill (light duty), Counter Bore, Tap, Thread Mill, Contour, Thread Mill & Engraving with spindle attachment to do additional secondary operations on Mold Base:

Accessories

HTT specializes in making highprecision drill bush and tool accessories. We have sufficient stock for drill bushes, drill bush holders, whip guides, sealing discs and tool accessories.

Custom-made non-standard parts can be made according to your drawings. The tolerance is as little as ± 0.005mm, the smallest ID can be 0.3mm. They are for metal, mold, medical equipment, aerospace and other industries.

HTT has years of manufacturing experience, a compre-hensive quality management system, and sophisticated measuring equipment. It greatly improves the quality and tool life time. The high-quality tool accessories can meet the high production efficiency and improve your product's quality.

BTA drilling tool heads are threaded or mounted onto long drill tubes, and use multiple cutting insert on a single tool to remove chips efficiently, flushing them out with high-pressure coolant through holes in the tool head, then out the drill tube and through the machining spindle. BTA tooling is available in brazed or inserted carbide configurations.
